US and Canadian orders are sent via 1st class USPS package mail unless an alternate method is chosen at checkout. At this current time we offer free US shipping for all orders. Canadian orders of less than $100 are subject to a $10 shipping charge and ship by 1st Class USPS mail unless the customer chooses an alternate method of shipping at checkout. 

As of April 2nd 2018, all international orders are shipped via DHL and costs are calculated at checkout. We offer free shipping internationally for retail customers with an order value of $100+.  For orders in Europe for the remainder of 2020, we offer free shipping for orders over $100.

For orders shipped internationally via USPS 1st Class Mail, we cannot guarantee delivery. We encourage our international customers to opt for DHL or FedEx International delivery at checkout for fast and guaranteed delivery.

Orders sent internationally using 1st class mail are at buyer's risk. We do not assume any liability for goods lost in transport.

All international customers must submit a telephone number at checkout. Yoga Democracy is not liable for any customs and import duties that may be imposed on international customers. International customers who refuse to accept delivery will not be refunded for the cost of shipping or order value and goods disposed of by the carrier.


Unless indicated as a final sale item, all U.S. based customers are eligible for a 30-day return/exchange period from date of receipt of your item.

Final Sales Items are not eligible for a return or exchange. 

All items must be returned in unused, original condition with tags attached. Except in case of manufacturer defect, we cannot make any exceptions to this policy.

We warranty all our products including those marked as final sale for 30-days after purchase against defect and will issue upon receipt of the item and verification of the defect a refund equivalent to the value of the original order including any shipping costs incurred, repair or replacement. 

Customers who fall outside of the 30-day return/exchange period but which feel their item has a manufacturer's defect are advised to contact us at Customers will be asked to detail and/or submit a photograph to indicate the defect. If a defect appears likely, US customers will be sent a prepaid shipping label. 

International and Canadian Customers - Please contact us on to initiate the return process. Customer is responsible for shipping merchandise back, and incurring the cost associated with shipping. We cannot offer international exchanges. All international returns are processed as a refund against the original form of payment. 

US customers please visit to initiate an exchange or return for refund.

Customers may always opt to purchase their own postage in which case we recommend keeping a record of tracking on returned items. We do not take responsibility for lost or damaged packages shipped to us using postage purchased by the customer.

Fitness Mats

At this time we are unable to process returns for fitness mats through our Self Returns Center. Those wishing to return their mat are still eligible for a 30 day return period. We cannot however offer exchanges on fitness mats and all returns will be processed as return for refund. Your mat is eligible for a refund if returned to our fulfillment center within 30 days of purchase in unused condition with original packaging.

Those wishing to return a mat should request a return authorization from A UPS label will be provided to you at the email address used on your original order to ship your mat back for return processing. A flat rate restocking fee of $10 will be applied to your refund to cover the cost of the return shipping.

Shipping costs on all orders are non-refundable.

Order Processing

We process orders within 24 hours of receipt excluding holidays and weekends. Please allow up to 3 business days to receive a shipping confirmation. All shipping notifications will include a tracking number. 

Order changes including cancellations can be accommodated only within 24 hours of an order being placed.
