Q: What gravitated you towards out new Folklore print?
A: I gravitated towards this print because it reminds me of my hometown; specifically my hometown music festival, Grassroots festival of music and dance. I can just hear my mom going “groovy!” when I wear this print.
Q: How does sustainability play a role in your life?
A: Sustainability is a huge part of my life. I’m lucky to have grown up in Ithaca, NY where the environment is always a priority. I grew up composting in my backyard and cooking with vegetables grown from our garden. We went back to school shopping at second-hand stores, always brought our reusable bags, and learned to keep the environment and our carbon footprint on the forefront of our mind. One of the main reasons I decided to go vegan was to decrease my carbon footprint and do my part in helping the planet. Sustainability plays a role in all of my daily decisions as well as the types of products and brands I chose to consume, which is another reason I love Yoga Democracy!
Q: What inspires your style?
A: I feel inspired in my style when I feel comfortable, confident, and 100% myself. I usually gravitate towards neutral colors except for my workout clothes. I love to add color to my wardrobe in this area because it makes moving my body even more fun and motivating!
Q: How can you see yourself styling this new collection?
A: I can see myself wearing this collection to yoga, the gym, run errands, and to festivals! I absolutely love the diversity it has to be worn to any type of event. With fall coming up, it’s perfect fall colors so I can definitely see myself with an oversized sweater with the flare leggings or a Jean jacket over the sports bra and tank top.
Q: How does wearing Yoga Democracy make you feel?
A: Yoga democracy always has me feeling like my most confident self. It hugs me in all the right places and there’s so many options for different types of coverage. There’s definitely a piece and pattern for all my different vibes and no matter what it is, I always feel cool!
